Jordan Wylie MBE is an award winning adventurer, international bestselling author (Sunday Times & New York Times) and one of the stars of Channel 4โs BAFTA nominated TV shows Hunted and Celebrity Hunted.
Since 2018 Jordan has been the United Kingdomโs national ambassador for the Army Cadets, one of the nationโs largest youth organisations.
Jordan has lived an action packed life that has taken him to all 7 continents and also the South Pole, he has survived and thrived in many of the worldโs most hostile, remote and complex environments as a frontline soldier, humanitarian and explorer.
In 2023, Jordan was appointed an MBE by His Majesty King Charles III for voluntary services to charity and education. Jordan has raised well over a million pounds for charitable causes, with the pinnacle being the delivery and full funding of a new school on the Horn of Africa.
In 2025, Jordan was awarded a Fellowship from Winchester University for outstanding contributions to primary and secondary education. Jordan is a proud patron and ambassador for many childrenโs charities, he is also a District President within The Scouts and lives by his own mantra of โBe The Difference That Makes A Differenceโ.
After leaving school with no qualifications at all at 16 years of age, Jordan joined the British Army. After travelling the world and serving on multiple operational tours in Iraq and Northern Ireland, Jordan came to understand the importance of education and returned to it as an adult. Jordan has since completed his GCSEโs, A Levels, Foundation, Bachelors and Masters Degree and has returned to various conflicts zones around the world to help support children access education. Jordan believes that education is the most powerful tool in the world and his stories show demonstrate how it can inspire hope and change lives. In May 2021, Jordan opened a new school for 250 children on the Horn of Africa and was able to keep a promise to a little boy that he met 5 years earlier thereโฆ.
After leaving the military, Jordan was diagnosed with chronic anxiety and severe depression in 2015 which led him to a very dark period of his life for which he still takes medication for today. Jordan uses adventure, purpose and the great outdoors to manage his mental health and wellbeing and is passionate about the medicinal benefits of blue and green therapy that the natural world and outdoors provides us with. In 2021, despite his high social media profile, Jordan took a 1 year break from all his platforms to raise awareness of the impacts of influencers were having on young peoples mental health.
Jordan is a multiple Guinness world record holder and has undertaken extreme adventures around the world in aid of charitable causes. In 2020 during the global pandemic, Jordan was socially distanced at sea when he spent 149 days attempting to be the first person to Standup Paddleboard around Great Britain, setting a new world record despite the horrific conditions and challenges he came across on this incredible adventure. In 2021 Jordan set a new world record for the deepest underground marathon when he ran over 1000 metres below the North Sea, a project called โBeneath The Surfaceโ to raise awareness of the importance of mental wellbeing in young people. Jordanโs adventures have taken him to Antarctica, the Himalayas, the Sahara Desert and beyond.
