Hi, I’m Kirsty, the dyslexic coach, nestled in the gorgeous Dorset region in the South West of England. My husband, Joph, and I together have raised five amazing kids, one of whom shines with the gifts of dyslexia and ADHD.

Nature’s my stomping ground, and I’m all about exploring the countryside on foot, soaking up the magic of the great outdoors. Yoga and running are my zen places. I’ve taken on half marathons, even a full marathon, and a bunch of other sporty escapades. I thrive on quirky challenges, like going 40 days chocolate-free, hitting 10,000 steps daily for a year, or braving winter sea swims. I love climbing mountains and have conquered Snowdon, Ben Nevis, and Scafell Pike, and let me tell you, they are stunning.

I was diagnosed with Dyslexia when I was seven, shaping my life in both testing and empowering ways. School tested my patience, demanding extra homework for the grades I craved. But guess what? It forged my unbreakable determination and refusal to back down. Learning used to be a chore, reading a punishment. Now, with the right font and audiobooks in tow, it’s a joy. Looking back, I see how I let dyslexia steer my choices and limit my ambitions and it took until my 30s to clock onto its strengths.

My 30s were a game-changer. I tackled a master’s in Management with Human Resources, juggling work and parenting. Those three years were a whirlwind of challenges, revealing a pivotal truth: I’m in charge of my destiny. Dyslexia isn’t the boss of me. Armed with this insight, I shifted into coaching.

I find immense joy in empowering and witnessing growth in others. There’s something truly magical about standing on the sidelines, offering unwavering support while watching people soar to new heights. I use my dyslexic strengths to support, encourage, and uplift others and this is where my heart thrives. The satisfaction I feel in doing this is simply unmatched. This passion, combined with my previous experiences, led me to transition from HR to coaching.

Kirsty is amazing! My session with her was wonderful from start to finish. She was approachable from the word go, and made me feel so comfortable talking about big life decisions. Her skill in asking important questions and helping me come to my own conclusions was amazing. I would give her one hundred out of ten if I could."
