As a current serving educator, strategic digital leader and AI network lead for the River Learning Trust; Aaron has a wealth of knowledge in the transformative power of AI in education, with a proven track record of impactful CPD that demystifies and champions educators to improve their practice.

Developing AI practice- (1-2 hours)
This is a problem-based session where you will bring an idea for a scheme of work/ whole school priority you want to develop/ create. Together, we will flesh out the bones and create a finished article by developing your ability to use AI.

  • Come away with your own complete SOW and resources.

Digital meets physical- From thought to prototype- (2-4 hours)

Embrace the digital, but not without the physical. This workshop focuses on how to leverage AI tools to create a functioning prototype. The emphasis is not on the AI tools themselves, but what they can do for you. Use both text and image generators to create an idea, develop it, code it and build it. Doing this at speed using AI to help breed ideas and develop them.

  • How to prompt and re-prompt AI tools to gain the desired outputs.

Digital Strategy- How to build and develop a digital strategy- (1-2 hours)

The only real guarantee is in this world is change, and being able to adapt to it and future proof your organisation as best as possible is more important than ever. This keynote can be delivered to entire staff teams, digital leads or senior leaders. Which will cover, the importance of a digital strategy, why it’s needed and what a good one should include.

Pain point to potential- A facilitation session- (2 hours)

A facilitation session for middle leaders, senior leaders, or whole departments. Where we work out your biggest problems, prioritise, strategise and execute.

Key take aways-

  • An understanding of what your strategic pain points are.
  • Strategic actions on how to improve those pain points.

Student workshops
All student workshops are either half day or full day with all tools and materials are provided.
  • Save the world- The world is set to end; the young engineers must find a way to move the broken fuel cell and refuel their rocket without using their hands.
  • Hands free movement- Learning about simple mechanisms, students will make their own gripper to move an awkward item from one location to the other, as well as coming up with as many solutions as possible.
  • Unsinkable ships- Students will use materials not designed to float to create their own boat that can carry a "sweet treat” load. A focus on waterproofing and making the impossible, possible.
  • Design, build, test- A classic bridge building activity, with a twist. Students need to build a stable and functional bridge that will be tested to destruction.
  • 3D Printing for innovation- The world doesn’t need more plastic. This is 2-day session based upon designing and printing your own designs.
  • Mars Rover Session- You are part of a multinational mission to retrieve a new element from Mars. You will need to work with other nations and teams to adapt your own radio-controlled car and traverse all the obstacles in your way.
