Guenther Steiner

Guenther began his professional career in rallying, securing the position of Assistant Team Manager for Top Run Srl. His passion for motorsport led him to become the Manager of Prodrive’s Allstar Rally team in 1997, achieving victory at the European Rally Championship. Transitioning to Formula 1 in 2001, Guenther was appointed Team Principal and later advanced to Managing Director, becoming a leading authority in the industry and a coveted figure among major Formula One teams.

When entrepreneur Gene Haas considered creating a Formula One team, he enlisted Guenther to lead the effort. Guenther’s expertise in building successful race and rally teams from scratch made him the ideal candidate for the task. His straight-talking style and keen sense of humour, showcased in the popular Netflix series “Drive to Survive,” have made him a media and fan favourite.
