Fene’s core competence is in Cyber security, Technology Governance, Risk Management, and Digital transformation. Fene has consulted for several Financial Institutions, Telecoms and FinTech companies, state governments and some Universities in these areas, holding over 10 internationally recognized professional cyber security certifications.
He started his cyber security career with Deloitte over a decade ago and has had a very fast career progression into executive management across three-multibillion-dollar multinational companies in less than 10 years. He has worked in, and spoken at international conferences in over 20 countries across four continents and was recognized by Hiedens International Magazine USA as Africa’s most sought-after cybersecurity advisor in 2021. In one of his previous roles as Director of IT Security at IHS, he helped the company create their cyber security function from scratch and mature it in 18 months to the level that enabled the company list on the New York stock exchange in 2021.
