Robin Ince is an award-winning comedian, author, broadcaster and one of the UK’s most recognisable popularisers of scientific ideas.
Best known as the co-host of the Sony Gold Award-winning BBC Radio 4 series The Infinite Monkey Cage alongside Brian Cox, Robin has spent more than 15 years bringing science, curiosity and humour to audiences around the world.
A hugely engaging and thought-provoking speaker, Robin blends comedy, storytelling and intellectual insight to explore topics including neurodiversity, creativity, science, mental health and what it means to be human. His live shows have covered subjects ranging from consciousness and physics to Charles Darwin, always delivered with his trademark energy, wit and warmth.
Robin is the author of six books, including Normally Weird and Weirdly Normal: My Adventures in Neurodiversity, inspired by his late ADHD diagnosis and exploring the realities of the neurodivergent experience. His memoir, I’m A Joke and So Are You, was named one of the Evening Standard’s Best Comedy Books of the Year, while Bibliomaniac celebrated his lifelong love of books and independent bookshops.
Alongside his writing and broadcasting, Robin has curated and hosted countless events combining science, music and comedy at venues including the Hammersmith Apollo. His many television and radio appearances include Mock the Week, Just a Minute and Never Mind the Buzzcocks.
A Fellow of the British Science Association, Robin has also received an Honorary Fellowship from UCL and an honorary doctorate from Royal Holloway, University of London.
