Dubbed ‘The Mighty Motivator’ by Chris Evans, Rob Hosking is an international TEDx motivational speaker and former front-line Police Officer, renowned for his ability to inspire teams and leaders to adapt in fast-changing, high-pressure environments.
With years of experience responding to unpredictable situations, Rob has developed a deep understanding of how individuals and organisations can thrive in the midst of uncertainty. His story is a raw and relatable insight into what happens when people suffer in silence, and how it’s possible to come back stronger with the right support. He uses these personal experiences to break down stigmas and spark important conversations around mental health, trauma, and emotional wellbeing.
Through his talks, Rob champions the importance of creating psychologically safe cultures, environments where people feel safe to speak up, support each other, and bring their whole selves to work. He has featured on the likes of the Chris Evans Show and GB News sharing about his experiences with mental health challenges and trauma. Many organisations seek out Rob to speak openly and honestly about mental health in the workplace as a result.
What sets Rob apart is his ability to balance intense, often difficult subjects with humour, humanity, and hope. He weaves personal anecdotes from his time in uniform with practical insights into leadership, teamwork, and adaptability, making every session both impactful and deeply human.
Trusted by organisations such as the NHS, Kellogg’s, London Stock Exchange, Heathrow Airport, Parker Meggitt, Secret Escapes and many more, Rob’s down-to-earth style, real-world experience, and motivational delivery make him a sought-after speaker for teams who want to perform under pressure, while looking after their people in the process.
