After leaving rugby Sir Clive Woodward became Technical Director and Director of Football at Southampton, and a UEFA qualified coach before being chosen as Director of Sport on behalf of the British Olympic Association. There he was responsible for turning athletes and sportsmen from all disciplines into Team GB. They then went on to achieve the best ever performance by a British Olympic team ever at the London 2012 games.
