Shanara Hibbert is a Careers, Wellbeing and Executive Coach, founder of Shanara Coaching, four-time National Triple Jump medallist, and a TEDx and keynote speaker.
She is passionate about helping people achieve more than they believe possible, both in and outside of their careers, while protecting their wellbeing. Drawing on her professional expertise and personal experience of managing mental and physical health, including recovery from major injury and surgery, Shanara delivers impactful and relatable sessions.
Through Shanara Coaching, she works with leaders and change-makers via bespoke talks, workshops, one-to-one coaching and consultancy, specialising in career success, inclusion, wellbeing, navigating challenging conversations and preventing burnout. She has worked with organisations including The University of Law, Rethink Mental Illness, and North East London NHS Foundation Trust.
Previously, as a Performance Lifestyle Coach for UK Athletics, Shanara supported GB Olympic and Paralympic athletes in life beyond sport, with a focus on health, career progression and personal development. Her leadership in wellbeing initiatives, inclusion strategies and psychosocial support for injured athletes has been widely recognised. Shanara also brings extensive leadership experience across sectors including higher education, charity and the public sector.
She has been recognised with a National Collaborative Award for Teaching Excellence, named an SHP Rising Star UK finalist, and had work shortlisted for the Inspiring Herts Workplace Wellbeing Award.
