Paralympic wheelchair basketball player Robyn from Ayr, Scotland competed at the 2024 Paralympics in Paris, representing Paralympic GB for the third time.

Robyn grew up with a physical disability after being born with arthrogryposis and after being one of the top wheelchair tennis players in Scotland switched to wheelchair basketball.

It was on the court she met her fiancé Laurie and the two have a daughter, Alba, who was born in 2023. Robyn and Laurie are advocates for the LGBT+ and disability communities, and work both individually and as a pair, using their unique experiences to deliver engaging talks promoting the importance of equality, resilience and leadership.

Robyn is a keen and regular public speaker who spends her working hours off the court working on her wheelchair basketball and tennis commentary and punditry skills, as well as introducing TikTok to the reality of her life as a game-changing LGBT mum living with a disability!
