This keynote throws the audience straight into the depths of the biggest natural disaster in our living history. But this is not a story of devastation, but of enlightenment. Michelle expertly takes the audience through what she learned about humanity in the face of adversity and how we can use those lessons for our communication, collaboration and for finding fulfilment.

An amalgamation of Michelle’s finest work from non-visual communication, non-verbal communication and behaviour profiling.

Never has there been such an effective Masterclass in understanding behaviour types. This gives the audience all the cheats to be able to identify behaviour types by body language, (even a handshake) by how people dress, the words they use, what roles they are drawn to, and how to build rapport with them all. This can include multiple cheat sheets on how to enthuse, how to diffuse situations, how to reward, how to negotiate, how to lead, and more for every different behaviour type.

Resilience doesn’t have to roar! It’s not about strength, it’s about flexibility. One of the most important messages in this talk is that we cannot measure one person’s adversity against another. Adversity is adversity, and we all have it in spades throughout a lifetime. We will appreciate each other’s adversity, explore what resilience is, and adopt strategies to add to our toolbox that will arm us for future adversity. This can include the theory of Essence, Michelle’s motivational analysis.

As a late diagnosed neurodivergent, Michelle is keen on looking at whether we are looking at the areas of neurodivergence as a problem that requires support, rather than equipping neurodivergents to shine. With a fresh perspective Michelle will explore the possibility that those who have changed society for the better, may very well have been neurodivergent. How could we celebrate neurodivergence and encourage it into our organisations. This talk has been described as the talk of the day by delegates at conferences recently, by Heads of People, Talent Acquisition managers and Heads of HR . Includes a brilliant check list of neurodivergent superpowers as well as some really simple areas of potential support that we may not have thought of.

What motivates us is an unseen force. Michelle’s incredible work in this area suggest that our driving forces are largely set in our formative years. This talk shows us some potential pitfalls on hiring on values and the benefits of embracing all driving forces. Aligning to these forces can give us happiness, mental fitness and fulfilment.

What people say

IOSH invited Michelle to deliver an inspirational speech at its annual conference for volunteers. Her professionalism was heralded from the outset when she requested time to explore the aims of the conference prior to the event. Michelle then very ably tailored her presentation to meet the event’s aspirations. The effect was breath-taking and highly effective. Her speech and support to the ensuing workshop was exceptional and the feedback was that it had greatly enriched delegate’s experience. Fantastic!
