Mark Wood is a natural story teller, as well as being an explorer, who has true stories of adventure, bravery and global journeys. He captivated both the children and the adults at the children’s university graduation ceremony, everyone felt honoured to be sitting in the same room with him. I think we were all hoping that some of his qualities might rub off on us! Intelligent, thoughtful and topical issues were raised together with his sense of humour, leaving us thoroughly entertained and educated. The children were given the opportunity to ask Mark Wood questions at the end and were queuing up to be photographed with him. Just one of the many comments we received was that the evening ‘was phenomenal’. I recommend everyone to keep an eye on him to see what he is up to next!
