Laura Kennington is a British adventure athlete with a deep passion for exploring the endurance capabilities of the human body. Her incredible journeys—on river, road, and sea—highlight the extraordinary potential we all have within us, proving that with self-belief and perseverance, we are capable of much more than we realise.

Laura’s adventures are nothing short of epic:

  • Solo kayaking a section of the Volga River in Russia.
  • Solo cycling all 1,600 miles of the world’s longest coastal route in Ireland.
  • Running the length of Fuerteventura (100 miles) in just four days.
  • Circumnavigating three of the Channel Islands using three different sporting disciplines.
  • Her most ambitious feat to date: cycling 3,700 miles along the North Sea-facing coasts of eight countries, from Scotland to Norway.

Her journey into adventure began in the Suffolk countryside, where Laura grew up as the only girl among brothers, exploring muddy fields with her loyal White Alsatian, Hobo. Years later, while working as a personal trainer in London, she developed a fascination with how the human body copes under physical stress. This curiosity inspired her to step out of her comfort zone—quite literally leaping into adventure with a cliff dive in America—and she hasn’t looked back since.
