James Bargeron has spent 30 years as a broker and trusted advisor to some of the giants in oil, trading and shipping, negotiating large oil transportation contracts across the globe. Aged 22, he co-founded a boutique brokerage, eventually becoming one of leaders worldwide in his specialised field.

It wasn’t though, without its challenges and the quest for success isn’t an easy and simple path. The demands and pressure to win and succeed and the frailties of being human are easily exposed under pressure.

In his talks, James shares insights from his rich and varied experiences: the challenges, the wins and successes, as well as the failures, fear, rejection, loss and betrayal, which were all part of his journey.
