Jake Graf is a London-based actor, writer, and director whose first nine award-winning films have been screened at over 100 festivals worldwide.

His debut feature film, Lavender, is in development with the BAFTA-nominated MisFits Entertainment (McQueen), and he is currently working on two television drama pilots. Jake uses film as a medium to drive positive change, providing representation for rarely seen characters and stories while promoting acceptance and understanding. His films are widely used as educational tools in universities, schools, prisons, and media events internationally.

His recent roles include appearances in ITV’s Butterfly, DBO’s Different For Girls, and opposite Keira Knightley in the feature film Colette.

Jake Graf is a patron for Mermaids, akt, and Ditch The Label, and a judge for the European Diversity Awards, The Rainbow Honours, The Iris Prize Film Festival, and The National Diversity Awards.

With a background in film, acting, and writing, Jake is a confident speaker on topics such as the importance of positive representation in the media, LGBTQ+ relationships, travel, and inclusion. His difficult past before his transition and overcoming struggles with addiction and destructive behaviour patterns are particularly relevant when highlighting the importance of supporting trans and LGBTQ+ colleagues in the workplace.

Jake also offers talks and a workshop with his wife, Hannah Graf. As the UK’s most high profile transgender couple, Jake and Hannah will bring together their personal stories and experiences across multiple industries to deliver a unique and engaging workshop. Through a combination of insightful presentations and guided exercises, participants will re-evaluate their approach to LGBTQ+ inclusion, with a particular focus on taking away meaningful actions to drive inclusion, both as individuals and as an organisation. With over a decade of advocating for the LGBTQ+ community across the globe, the award winning couple strike the perfect balance between storytelling and interaction and will leave your employees energised and empowered to make a difference in the world.

What people say

Not only are Jake and Hannah charismatic, passionate, and informed speakers, but Jake’s films generated a lot of important discussion and questions from our audience. Their honesty around transition and candid answers to questions was endearing, and we have had only positive feedback from our event. Jake and Hannah were a pleasure to work with – happy to adapt to whatever style of speech we wanted them to deliver, and their charity work brought a lot of new faces to our company.”
