Geffrye Parsons (he/him) is the Founder and CEO (‘Chief Empathy Officer’) of The Inclusion Imperative.

As a thought leader and driver of positive change in the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging space (DEIB), Geff has expertise (particularly but not solely) in LGBTQ+ inclusion, and its intersectionality with other marginalised characteristics.
He focuses on challenging received wisdoms and practices to foster cultural reinvention, and encourages business learning by promoting the value of authenticity, empathy and psychological safety in the workplace.

Geffrye Parsons is highly experienced at public speaking in multiple formats – as a keynote speaker, interviewee, panellist and moderator.
Geff has won the ‘LGBT+ Inspirational Leader of the Year’ at the British LGBT Awards and has been ranked in The Guardian’s Pride Power List of the 100 most influential LGBTQ+ people in the UK.

He has spoken extensively about DEIB and LGBTQ+ inclusion, and their intersections with topics ranging from psychological safety, authentic leadership, belonging, allyship and imposter syndrome, to more challenging intersections such as hate speech, conversion therapy, disability, poverty, infertility and bullying.
He also co-hosts a fortnightly podcast, ‘Pride Talks’, on the theme of LGBTQ+ inclusion every two weeks on LinkedIn Live with ExecuPride.

Geff worked for 35 years in executive front office roles for leading international financial and professional services organisations, based in the UK, Hong Kong, Singapore and the Netherlands, prior to setting up his Diversity, Equity & Inclusion consultancy, The Inclusion Imperative, in 2022.
