Chelsea Roff is a world-renowned speaker, educator, and the visionary Founder and Director of Eat Breathe Thrive — an international charity dedicated to helping people recover from eating disorders.

She is known for her down-to-earth speaking style and ability to blend a deeply moving personal story with scientific and cultural insights to move and inspire audiences from all walks of life.

Chelsea’s remarkable journey through foster care and the mental health system catalysed the charitable work she does today. At fifteen, her life took a dramatic turn when she suffered a stroke due to severe anorexia. After nearly eighteen months in the hospital, Chelsea emerged not as a victim, but as a survivor, and turned her experience of hardship into a powerful vehicle to help others.

At 23, Chelsea quit her job and raised nearly fifty thousand dollars to start a charity for individuals battling eating disorders. Eat Breathe Thrive was born out of her fervent commitment to help others find a way out of their struggles and ensure all people have access to the resources they need to recover, regardless of circumstance.

A decade since its inception, Eat Breathe Thrive has helped over ten thousand people across forty-two countries on their path to recovery. The organisation’s programmes, under Chelsea’s direction, have achieved recognition and validity, backed by four separate scientific studies, including two randomised controlled trials.

Individual-Speakers-Quote

Chelsea Roff is an incredible speaker and teacher. Her presentation warmed my heart, turned my stomach, and opened my eyes. Her ability to connect with her audience is delightful. She is funny, smart, and driven by passion and intention. I was impressed by her humility and how she approached her time with our group with such mindfulness and empathy. She wanted to make it as meaningful as possible. She shared bits and pieces of her own story (which moved many of us to tears) and distilled her points down to be potent and relevant for everyone in the room. You could tell she tailored the seminar to who was in the room and would figure out which parts to elaborate or skip over based on our reactions. She was amazingly composed, informative, and engaging, and I’m so grateful to have met her!”
