Mark Richardson is a former world-class athlete who competed at the highest level, winning silver at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics and gold at the 1997 World Championships in the 4x400m relay.

Now a highly regarded speaker on leadership, team development, and human performance, Mark brings a wealth of experience from both elite sport and the corporate world.

Following his retirement from athletics, Mark became a Partner at Lane4, one of the UK’s leading management and people development consultancies. Over the years, he has worked closely with boards, senior leadership teams, and executives across a wide range of industries, helping them to navigate change and build high-performance cultures. In 2022, he joined Korn Ferry as a Senior Client Partner, continuing his work in leadership transformation and organisational development.

With deep expertise in people change, leadership, resilience, and human performance, Mark is an accredited Performance Coach who applies psychological principles to foster engagement, inspire change, and drive lasting behavioural shifts. His ability to connect elite sports performance with business leadership makes his insights particularly impactful.

Most recently, he led two groundbreaking leadership summits for the UK’s largest police force, working with its top 50 leaders to shift the organisation’s leadership culture.
