Kyran is a former English rugby union footballer who played at scrum-half for Saracens, Bristol and Waterloo R.F.C. He won a total of 51 England caps and captained the team on three occasions, retiring from international rugby in 2004. Kyran joined Saracens in 1996 and was part of the team that won the Tetley’s Bitter Cup against Wasps in 1998.
Kyran also starred in and won ITV1’s celebrity ice dancing competition Dancing on Ice. In the semi-final he received the highest score in the history of Dancing on Ice at that time (29.5 out of a possible 30).

World Cup winner Kyran Bracken made his debut for England against the All Blacks in 1993, but was injured by a nasty stamp by Jamie Joseph that put him out of action for three months. But he fought he was back to full fitness and back into the England team and went on to win 51 caps.
Qualified in law from Bristol University, when the game went professional he transferred from Bristol RFC to Saracens. A highly respected and popular player for both his club and for his country, he has captained his country on three occasions as well as leading Saracens for two season.
Kyran’s contribution to English rugby has been immense, and since his retirement at the close of the 2005/06 season this has been well acknowledged and he’s a character who will be missed.
An intelligent guy and a very talented speaker, he is regularly called upon to MC events and give keynote speeches. He’s insightful, has the ability to educate, engage and entertain an audience and is always great company.
Also popular with the media, he appears frequently on the BBC and Sky Sports TV amongst other media channels.
Viewers of ITV’s Dancing on Ice enjoyed Kyran’s skating prowess along with the judges. He endeared himself to the public and presented himself in a fantastic light. As overall winner of the 2007 series he went on to win the special edition of Dancing On Ice ‘The Champion of Champions’, after repeating his record 29.5 point score.
